Privacy Policy

Short version: this is a text site. It does not have accounts, a shop, a booking engine or a newsletter, so there is very little about you for it to hold.

What is collected

  • Server logs. Our host records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system. This is how essentially every web server works and it is used for security and to understand which pages are read. Logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
  • Basic analytics. Aggregate counts of page views and rough geographic region, at country level. We do not build profiles, track individuals between visits, or attempt to identify anyone.
  • Email you send us. If you write to the address on the contact page, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the matter resumes.

What is not collected

No accounts, no passwords, no payment details, no postal addresses, no dates of birth, no uploaded documents. We do not run advertising networks, remarketing pixels or cross-site trackers, and we do not embed third-party social widgets that would report your visit elsewhere.

Selling data

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. There is no arrangement under which any hotel, agency or advertiser receives information about our readers. The only parties who handle data at all are our hosting provider and our analytics provider, and they do so on our instruction in order to run the site.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own for tracking. Web fonts are loaded from an external font service, which will see the request your browser makes for them; if you would rather that did not happen, blocking third-party font loading in your browser will leave the site fully readable in a system typeface.

Opting out

You can browser-block analytics and fonts, use a privacy extension, or read the site with JavaScript disabled — nothing here depends on it. To have any email correspondence deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, write to privacy@yourtennistime.com and we will act on it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised text replaces this one on this page. There is no mailing list to notify, which is rather the point.
